Relationships, like mosquitos in the summertime
Bountiful omnipotent and always on my mind
Taking pieces of me and leaving reminders of them in return
It is from them which I learn
For people with blood as sweet as mine
Relationships can come often, some staying forever and some fading with time
The pesky ones leave a scar, a burn
The lucky ones an honor to earn
When you do catch a relationship worth the fight
Keep it around and hold it tight
Protect it with all your might
For they are fragile and rare
They must be handled with care
